The World Water Forum, organized by the World Water Council (WWC), is the world’s biggest water-related event and is contributes contributes to the dialogue of the decision-making process on water at the global level, seeking to achieve the rational and sustainable use of this resource.

The 8th edition of the World Water Forum will held more than 200 sessions and debates about themes related to water.

The 8th World Water Forum has a venue for exhibition (EXPO) that will be dedicated to country and company stands, who wish to sell products or services exclusively to other companies and governments, countries, states, municipalities and universities.

The Fair of the 8th World Water Forum is an area with free, open access to the public. Institutions interested in displaying their products, services and solutions to businesses, consumers, Governments, society, University.

Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center

Located in the heart of the Brasília, the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center is one of the most modern convention center in Brazil. It can receive up to 9,400 people simultaneously in an area of 54 thousand square meters, housing five auditoriums and 13 modular rooms with retractable acoustic partitions that allow different combinations. In addition, the Convention Center has support structure with cafeterias, dressing rooms and space for assembly of medical station.

The Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center will host the activities of the 8th World Water Forum, with more than 200 debates and sessions.

National Mané Garrincha Stadium

The National Mané Garrincha Stadium is a multipurpose arena designed to host the most varied events. It counts with versatility of spaces for large fairs, press room, auditorium for lectures and conventions, area for concerts and support of infrastructure.

It is located next to the Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center.

The National Mané Garrincha Stadium will host the Expo and Fair events.  

The Expo will have 53 display booths. Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Mexico, China, England, Israel, Palestine, Switzerland, Senegal, the Netherlands, France, the United States, Turkey, Korea and Japan have secured their spaces. The Expo is restricted to the event's enrollees, and 10,000 participants are expected to attend during the days of the Forum.

The Fair is a free space, open to the public, and 35 thousand people are expected to visit. The Fair of the 8th World Water Forum can be seen as a showcase to display to society solutions and actions that have been implemented to maintain the quality and sustainable use of water in various parts of the world. The space will be occupied by booths from various sectors, including society, NGOs, universities, government and councils.
